The Saptarishis seek Mahadev's help to enlighten the mankind with spiritual knowledge. Ganesha expresses his curiosity to Mahadev, to gain immeasurable knowledge. Parvati explains the importance of worship to Ganesha. Ganesha decides not to have food until he worships. Mahadev enlightens the Rishis about spiritual knowledge. Daruka worships Parvati to get a boon for the demons, so that they can set their dominion again.
