Cow herd boss Sam Brewster and his rowdy men arrive in Tombstone after months on the trail looking for a good time. Sheriff Clay Hollister asks them to temporarily give up their guns. But during an argument Brewster's son Tully is shot and killed by a saloon patron who was carrying a hidden weapon. Sam Brewster vows revenge for his son's death.
