After Tamara's mother's harsh words, Carlos decides to end their relationship and leaves the apartment, despite her insistent pleas. Salvador confesses to Carolina that he still remembers their first meeting at her house, revealing the love he still feels for her. Lorena succumbs to Leonardo's charms, letting herself be carried away by his attention. Now, Leonardo shows his true colors: he reveals himself to be a scoundrel who only used her because that's what she represents to him. Tamara explodes with anger at her mother, whom she blames for influencing Carlos to leave her. In a fit of rage, Tamara throws herself at her mother and attacks her by surprise.
