Isabel tries to stop Valeria from turning herself in to the police and offers money to the cyclist's family. Dante suspects a policeman in the pharmacy and doesn't buy any medicine, leaving the workers untreated. Romero discovers the romance between Santiago and Jazmín, which complicates his mission. Fernando and Mariángeles fall in love, while Jazmín looks for Santiago again. Remigio threatens the mayor, fearing blackmail. Jazmín remembers that Calixto took his daughter away from him and follows him, unaware that he is already planning to flee.
