Nicolás is in serious condition after being shot. Desperate, Luis confesses to Rocío that Nicolás is his son. Mar visits Luis at the Portilla mansion to thank him for always taking care of her and her daughter, but also surprises him by inviting him, along with Juan, to be little Luisa's godfather. Paula remains in prison, but makes several enemies who make her go through difficult times, even disfiguring her face. From prison, Rocío apologizes to Nicolás for the harm she has caused, and he accepts her into his life. Amidst the happiness that fills Ofelia and her family, Valeria talks to Nicolás and Arturo to clarify her feelings. At Luisa's baptism, everyone gathers in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. After so much misfortune, both families are happy and decide to record everything in a memorable photograph.
