Feelings (3x469)
: 25, 2024
In the '70s, everyone started getting in touch with their feelings, probably because there was nothing good on TV. Embracing what makes you feel good, addressing what makes you feel bad… Sure, it sounds good on paper! But when the result is a short like Feelings, it’s probably better just bottling up your emotions for several decades until you die resentful and alone.
A parade of unfortunately-attired 70s children address the camera about what they are feeling. This can be quite literal, such as feeling cold when you touch ice, or it can be distressingly abstract, like the kid who just chants “I hate him! I hate him!” (Unless he’s talking about Baby Ghost, he could probably use some counseling.) The entire time, abstract flute music plays in the background, giving it a fun “cult initiation” kind of feel.
