The body of the boss, Małgorzata Studzienna, is found in a development company. The woman is lying at the foot of the stairs, which may suggest that she fell - but Wichura and Walczak have to check if anyone helped her. The company's employees testify that the day before, Studzienny had fired her own son, Wojtek, from work. In the evening of that day, Wojtek was seen outside the company. Perhaps he came back to get back at his mother. Criminal investigators are trying to find Wojciech Studzienny and check whether he contributed to the death of his mother. When they meet the daughter of the murdered Małgorzata, they realize that there is actually a ruthless fight for succession in the company. Walczak is worried about Kowalski. His friend disappeared without a trace and shows no sign of life.
