There's no place for a solitary wolf. Herd life is imperative for wolves to survive, cooperating in hunting, raising puppies, caring for the elderly and the injured. Families with strong bonds and a fierce hierarchy top of the herd. It is impossible for an individual to compromise the stability of this arrangement. But sometimes the wolf leaves the herd where he was born to travel outside his own area, so why put the wolf itself at risk of hunger and unknown?
