On the day that tante Vie hopes to be elected as the president of the Bond of Belgian Funeral Directors, Willie brings home a new pet: Georgeke, a toad he found in the cemetery. However, the innocent creature brings no luck to tanteke and she sinks deeper into despair. There is a brief glimmer of hope when a profitable funeral for a city alderman seems to be on the horizon, but once again, fate intervenes.
