The internationally renowned painter Professor Ernst Nyborg lands in Korsbæk. He is a former art teacher and romantic interest of Maude Varnæs. Also arriving to witness Nyborg's exhibit is Gitte Graae, Jørgen Varnæs' home-wrecking and increasingly expensive lady friend.
