Nadir and Hunter attempt to track down a group of drug dealers who plied a 13-year-old girl with heroin, causing her to overdose. When Nadir attempts to use the girl's brother to identify the main suppliers, in return for helping the police, the boy is beaten up and is severely wounded. Meanwhile, Valentine and Hardy deal with an assault at the local swimming pool, which appears to be nothing more than a domestic. However, the pair later discover that the feud is much more interesting than they first thought - and their investigations lead them to a buried safe containing more than £70,000 in jewellery. Okaro prepares to hand over the reigns as he accepts the post of Borough Commander.
