Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 NASCAR Cup Series event marks the 114th race hosted by Atlanta Motor Speedway in the series’ history. The 1.5-mile tri-oval racetrack has a racing surface with 24 degrees of banking in the turns and 5 degrees on the straightaway. When the track first opened in 1960, the Cup Series held its inaugural race with Fireball Roberts as the winner.
