Tyrone chooses "Tyrone's Torpedo" for Monica's racing name. Gwen is thrilled when Jim invites her to go to the races to watch Monica run. Toyah tells Leanne that she ruined her party but Leanne accuses her of whining like a brat. Toyah is upset and swears she'll never speak to her again. Excited Tyrone races Monica at the track and is thrilled when she wins. Fred, Vinny, Jack, Jim and Gwen cheer her on and celebrate the win. Leanne steals £50 from the Baldwins' flat to feed her new coke habit. Natalie threatens to close the Rovers if none of her staff are prepared to work over New Year. Jim is pleased when Gwen asks him out on a date. Taking Leanne out to a club, Mark speeds into the street and knocks Monica over. Tyrone watches in horror.
