Hakuro is confused about how his mother’s death, Akito’s disappearance, and Yasuharu’s missing notebook are all related. Then he learns that Kaede has betrayed him and joined forces with another member of the Yagami clan. He begins to doubt whether Kaede is really Akito’s wife and he pays a visit to her family home to find out the truth. Meanwhile, with Yasuharu at death’s door, the Yagamis convene a family meeting and decide to divvy up his inheritance among themselves unless Akito returns. Will Hakuro solve the mystery in time?
