The Emperor's New Clothes (3x23)
: 28, 2010
The story follows a vain emperor who is obsessed with his appearance and clothes. Two cunning weavers come to town, claiming they can create the finest suit of clothes that are invisible to anyone who is unfit for their position or "hopelessly stupid." The emperor, wanting to showcase his wisdom and refinement, commissions the weavers to make this magical outfit. Everyone in the palace, not wanting to appear unfit or stupid, pretends to see the clothes, even though there is nothing there. The emperor ends up parading through the town in his "new clothes," and it is a child's innocent remark that reveals the truth: the emperor is wearing nothing at all. The story ends with the emperor realizing his foolishness and vanity.
