The World From Above
England - Isles of Scilly to Weymouth Bay (3x2)
: 08, 2012
This journey starts over the Isles of Scilly, at the very south-west tip of Britain. The rugged coastline of Cornwall takes us to the historic Falmouth Bay whose fortresses have guarded the harbour entrance for centuries. And nestled in an abandoned clay pit we find an extraordinary ecological experiment - the Eden Project, near St Austell. Passing Plymouth harbour and the biggest naval dockyard in Europe, we reach the Jurassic Coast - one of the most important fossil sites on Earth and we end our journey over some of the finest sailing waters in Europe, at Weymouth Bay.
