Hainan (1x2)

: 04, 2017

Hainan Province is located at the southernmost tip of China's map, and it carries with it the many islands of the South China Sea contributing to a vast area of sea equivalent to a quarter of China's land area. The Nansha Islands in the south define the southernmost national boundary of China, and the Qiongzhou Strait in the north separates the Hainan islands from the interior. This azure land has always held a special place for the Chinese. But only when you have been to Sansha and seen the "clear" blue sea, you can deeply feel the charm of the South China Sea. The air journey begins in the north, exploring how volcanoes have shaped the islands, traveling to a city with a spirit of adventure, and encountering three distinctive lighthouses along the northern coastline.
