Italy - Stromboli to Selinunte (3x1)
: 01, 2012
This journey begins at the volcanic island of Stromboli before joining Sicily's northern coast where we head west past hill top villages to Cefalu and its ancient cathedral. From there we continue to the island's capital city - Palermo. Inland to the south west is one of many ancient Greek archaeological sites on the island at Segesta. Back on the coast in the north west corner is the city and harbour town of Trapani and nearby a magnificent hill top town and castle. From there we head south across vineyards to the coast at Triscina and our final location - the ancient Greek ruins at Selinunte.
