Evil Dead Review (2013 Remake) Gore, gore and scary business is what people are saying about the Evil Dead Remake but it is true? All I can say is that we had high expectations for the remake of Sam Raimi's classic Evil Dead. Check out the review to see if our hopes were granted or if our dreams were dashed. Directed by Fede Alvarez and not starring Bruce Campbell but instead Jane Levy as the main character. You know the story.....a group of people go out into the woods (this time for a detox) and find the book of the dead in a cabins creepy basement. They proceed to read the book made of human flesh (?) and it summons ancient demons that come to bring the horror and fuck people up. What is the most disappointing horror movie you have ever seen?
