Jack, Bob Cryer and Alec Peters attend the funeral of old friend and colleague, ex-Sun Hill DS Ted Roach, and are soon drawn to investigate the suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Back at Sun Hill, Terry is driven to break into his brother's home in desperation, to save his nephews from further abuse.
