Research at the Security Bureau reveals that Xu Bin and Zhang Xiaojing in fact know each other. Li Bi suspects Zhang Xiaojing intentionally led Wolf Squad to the Counsellor’s mansion as a way to get even with him. Lin Jiulang secretly sends a message to the Emperor accusing the Crown Prince of four serious crimes. The Crown Prince finds out about the accusation against him and looks to Li Bi to solve the case as soon as possible to vindicate his name.
