The next day, Tong Nian recalls her embarrassing antics the previous night. She sends a message to Han Shang Yan to apologize and then suggests that they should break up. After all, their relationship is a fake one and she doesn’t want to trouble him anymore. Han Shang Yan’s stepmother requests for the necklace which is bought on Grandpa Han’s orders. But since he has given it to Tong Nian, he needs to pay back Han Jia Jia for it. As he is short of cash, he borrows from Wu Bai and tells Wu Bai not to say anything about the necklace. Tong Nian is feeling sad over the breakup. While Han Shang Yan agrees to break up, he also feels affected over the decision.
