Elmo imagines a group of instruments, who play music for him. Smartie acts as a marching band leader, playing a sample of "Elmo's Song." She then shows Elmo footage of instruments. Elmo and the kids identify sounds and find which instrument makes them. Mr. Noodle is instructed to play an instrument. He turns out to be a fine one-man band.
