But first, our very own gold medalist, Eila Adams, has the latest headlines, including more bad news for Harvey Weinstein and the Weinstein Company! New York's Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has filed a civil rights lawsuit against the Weinstein Company AND the Weinstein brothers personally. This follows a four-month investigation that uncovered further exploitation by the disgraced producer. This included many female employees, assistants and executives being expected to procure him his sexual conquests! Schneiderman said in a statement “Any sale of The Weinstein Company must ensure that victims will be compensated”.
