As the King and Queen arrive for this landmark moment in history, Huw Edwards will guide viewers through the intricacies of the symbolic oaths and sacred Christian rituals of the day’s centrepiece – the ancient coronation ceremony.

The pageantry and celebrations will continue, once the ceremony has concluded, with commentary of the spectacular coronation procession as the newly crowned King Charles III and Queen Camilla make their way back to Buckingham Palace.
