JRT returns to RLM for another BOTW. On this jam-packed episode, the gang watches an action movie sandwich with an embarrassing amateur Evil Dead knock off in the middle. First up is Terror Squad starring Chuck Conners. Who is Chuck Conners, you say? Yes! Terror Squad was shot in beautiful Kokomo, Indiana! Next up is Back From Hell, a no-budget 16mm extravaganza about 20 year olds running around the words pretending to be demons or something. Back from Hell was shot in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan! And finally it's Traxx!!!! The starring vehicle for veteran voice actor Shadoe Stevens. A confusing hybrid of action, comedy, parody, violent murder, and farts, Traxx left the gang stunned. Traxx was shot in beautiful backlot!

Tell me about it!!! Sometimes the things you think are part of what you are thinking really aren’t not in it. In this newest episode of Best of the Worst Wheel of the Worst, the boys are back to spin the wheel to watch three actual old; dusty VHS tapes. Media that time has forgotten to the ages of time. Mike, Jay, Rich and Tim enjoy three tapes watched on an HDTV screen played via a VHS tape player (Video Tape Player), recorded onto a digital ethernet server, then edited into a video on a computer, uploaded to a YouTube server, and then watched by YOU on your phone, laptop, TV, or Xenowatch™. The theme of this episode is weirdos and a well intentioned man who just loves balloons but not so much the gym. Sorry if that spoiled anything for you, but yes it did. When does this end, oh lord? When will it end? When will you call me back to your kingdom so I can stop doing this?

As the age of movies draws to a close, the boys at RLM are happy to have a very large collection of trash films that have been produced and released in the decades past. Films made by weird independent studios, cheapskate con-artists, and legit insane people. Exploitation films, movies with confusing plots, weird filmmaker visions that make no sense, embarrassing performances, terrible films made for the sole purpose so a perverted old man can open-mouth kiss an uncomfortable and disgusted young woman, awful discount and often reused visual FX, and some of the world’s ugliest people. Needless to say, unless you’re Donald Farmer, they don’t make them like they used to. Films today are made by Studios, Netflix, Amazon, etc and undergo a rigorous procedural vetting process. Algorithm compliance, plot beats calculated by computers to maximum engagement statistical sever product farming, actors and actresses that are “comfortable” and “safe” on set (if there is a set).
