Brandon has been offered a job in the States but needs help with his pre-employment tests, and Reece saves the day. Reece has some scandal on Yvonne. Yvonne lets slip to Fran that Luce and Deely have slept together. Fran confronts Luce and they have a furious row. Jake says goodbye to Murray as he is wheeled off for his life-or-death operation. Brandon is anxious about leaving for the US without making amends with Kumari, but Reece contrives to get the two of them together and Brandon seizes the chance to make his feelings plain. Meanwhile, Soph is on tenterhooks with Ren, who is giving her the cold shoulder.
