Naho (Mitsuki Takahata), the deputy director of a museum with a large collection of artworks, is pregnant with her husband Ikki (Shunsuke Kazama), the third-generation owner of a long-established art gallery, and stays in Kyoto to avoid the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Her mother, Katsuko (Yaozi Moriguchi), has arranged for her to stay in Kyoto for a long time to avoid the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, but living in an unfamiliar place makes Naho feel like a foreigner.
