Mayama Ako was born November 15, 1958 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. She is a voice actress (seiyuu) affiliated with Kenyu Office previously working for Production Baobab. Her former stage name was Mizuhara Rin, which she stopped using in 2003 and switched to Mayama Ako afterwards.
