While Pinoko and Sharaku are playing in the park next to the apartment building, a stray dog steals Pinoko's purse and runs away. As Pinoko and the others chase after it, the stray dog is hit by a car right in front of them and is seriously injured, but Black Jack performs surgery and the dog survives. Black Jack names the stray dog Largo, and Pinoko takes a liking to it, but Black Jack makes it clear that he has no intention of keeping it. Then, Sharaku reveals to Pinoko an unexpected truth that happened right after her purse was stolen...
