With Shikha's notice in hand, Aditya's father-in-law is now extremely skeptical of his & Madhurima's intentions. He even doubts that their baby even belongs to them. The two however, resort to emotional blackmail & manage to wriggle out of the situation. Meanwhile, Shikha's father arranges for a house they can live in, in Delhi until the case is resolved.
