Mahadev is impressed with Ganesha as he did not leave for the competition and performed his duties instead. Moreover, he considered his parents to be his world. Mahadev announces that Ganesha is the winner of the competition and will be worshipped before any of the deities. Kartikey objects to Mahadev's decision. He envies Ganesha and leaves the place. Parvati becomes worried on not finding Kartikey.
