Narad informs Parvati that her son is under the guardianship of Ganga. Parvati curses Ganga. Meanwhile, Ganga gladly accepts Mahadev and Parvati's energy as her own son. Tarakasur plans to snatch away the energy from Ganga. In order to protect the energy, Mahadev asks Ganga to visit Udayachal hills. Mahadev tries to console Parvati and explains the ill effects of her curse.
