Tarakasur is furious at his sons and informs Shukracharya that he will consider his suggestions. Tarakasur asks Shukracharya's permission for Vrithasur's help. On learning about Mahadev's appearance Parvati is delighted and decides to go to Amarnath. Mahadev instructs the Saptarishis to test Parvati. A crocodile attacks a small boy in front of Parvati.
