Edward encourages Mary-Claire to try and get into Ric's good books, and she finds herself uncharacteristically involved with a homeless patient. But when a mistake is made in theatre, Mary-Claire loses her nerve, but finds an ally in Edward. Arthur learns that being nominated for Doctor of the Year brings its own set of problems - particularly as he finds himself caught between three women.
