Barbie stars as Kristyn Farraday, a young ballerina who wishes to dance as a star. She is good dancer, but when she listens to music, her feet starts dancing their "own" dance. One day, Miss Katerina, gave Kristyn a magical pair of pink ballet shoes that take her to a magical ballet world, where she dances as a star in famous ballets.
