Series 277: My Favourite Things
Episode 2
My Favourite Things
Young children are curious about the world and enjoy exploring new objects and places. They also find security and pleasure through revisiting and reconnecting with familiar people, places and things. In this series of Play School we focus on ‘favourite things’ – special objects and collections as well as special relationships, pets, and places and favourite things to do. The concept of ‘favourite things’ is explored through singing, moving, pretending, making and creating, looking at books and listening to stories. Children and families are also encouraged to remember their own special times, places and people as the Play School presenters share experiences and memories. In each episode we sing ‘My Favourite Things’ and place something special on the Play School treasure shelf.
