On Amapola's orders, Tich poisons everyone in Leonel's house to exact revenge on Alba and Leonel. Iñigo searches for the perfect moment to finish off Atocha once and for all, but fails to realize that Sebastián is willing to risk his life for her. Leonel arrives just in time to save Luciano from Amapola's clutches. However, she is not so lucky and ends up falling victim to her own evil. Feeling unable to bear her grandchildren's contempt any longer, Covadonga disconnects all medical instruments, hoping to find in the afterlife the forgiveness she was denied in life.
