Brian's average intelligence and mediocre accomplishments are often criticized by his family. This treatment gets worse when he falls in love with a mentally retarded Abby. Abby, on the other hand, is protected by a single mother who believes that no man would ever love her daughter. As these two individuals develop a special bond, will their families be kind enough to give them-an odd couple- a chance to find the meaning of love?
