Charley's latest client, Lily, is concerned she isn't going to get to say goodbye to her daughters, but they come through in the end - all FOURTEEN of them. Turns out Lily is the most awesome foster care mom ever. Janey gets bummed when Mario gets accepted to medical school... in Nashville. Scott comes through with a new insurance plan for the nurses which is especially helpful to Tamara's health situation. Alec and Charley find some clarity in their relationship. Charley gets a disturbing phone call from her mom, Bonnie, which prompts her to drive across the state to visit home - where she discovers her mom is dying and needs her.
