Meanwhile, Durga tells Priya to be well dressed and questions Sambayya regarding Priya's jewels. However, Priya explains to Durga that she does not have any high expectations and is satisfied with what she has. Further, Mangalamba approaches and insults Durga because she had two miscarriages in the past. As a result, Durga vows to give birth to a boy child.
