UNIC investigates a dark case in a psychiatric hospital after they find the body of Julio, hanged and with signs of postmortem violence. Lucinda, his inseparable partner, is found in the scene, in crises. Soon, they find disturbing patterns: several recent deaths deemed as natural are actually murders. Detective Ariel works undercover and discovers an environment of abuse led by Doctor Damaris Valencia, who is actually an impostor that stole the doctor's identity and justifies her acts as "liberation" in a distorted attempt to help.
