Francisco decides to stay in Puerto Octay, since his objective is to recover his family. Milagros visits Rodrigo at the "Centinela" hotel and they talk about their relationship. They both reach an agreement to be together, but without falling in love, because it suits neither of them. Manuel asks Emilia why he never gave her the opportunity to make her happy. On the other hand, Valentina is determined to know everything that surrounds her in the Toro field. Thanks to her convictions, she announces that she will resign from her job in Santiago to stay there. Francisco visits Emilia in the countryside to make her a proposal that doesn't sit well with her. And in order for her to be able to use half of her land, she must pay him rent.
