Anton gets involved in a conflict with Oca and Badong, the two mules of a corrupt sergeant who offers protection to small-time criminals in exchange for money. Esperanza learns a little history of Pacita's life. Pacita reads Esperanza's palm and delivers a nefarious prediction.
