Futaba is puzzled by Kou’s invitation but decides to follow him as a friend. Kou tries to look forward to overcome his sadness as he walks through the streets of Nagasaki. Futaba’s heart surges as she tries to be close to Kou, but she begins to feel guilty about Toma. Later, when she honestly tells Toma about her and Kou sneaking out together during the school trip, Futaba promises to be more upfront with him. Meanwhile, Kou meets with Yui to put their relationship to rest.
