The Japanese have invaded New Ireland, prompting plantation owners Erskine and Haber to flee to Australia, leaving behind a woman they both love. For the opportunity to rescue the her, Erskine and Haber are coerced by Australian intelligence into kidnapping a German officer visiting the island.
