Artists such as Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Roberto Carlos and Pixinguinha, to name but a few, were the geniuses behind the mixture of rhythm, melody, harmony and poetry that enchanted and enchants generations of Brazilians and other lovers of good music around the world.
