After Maik's arrest, he receives an unexpected visit in prison. Katja Marusic, an old acquaintance from Berlin, uses her contacts to get him out again. And not without self-interest: she wants to build a drug empire in Läuterberg and blackmails Maik into using his divine ways. When Katja reveals her plan to Maik, little Lara listens. Can Maik protect Lara from Katja so that she can sing at her communion? And then, unannounced, a new chaplain, Emanuel, shows up at the door, sticking his nose into everything that doesn't concern him.
