Sherlock Holmes and Watson are called to investigate the mysterious murder of a farmer, whose body was found in a forest adjacent to the property of a wealthy tycoon. At first all suspicions lead to the victim's son who is stubborn in not wanting to answer the questions of the investigators and not to tell why the relationship with the father had become tense in recent times. Holmes, however, is convinced that behind the murder is hiding something bigger on which to shed light.
