Mr. Mooney heads up a Cub Scout camping trip in the woods when Lucy and Viv show up to replace an ill father. After losing the canoe, Lucy goes searching for it and gets lost. The rescue team of Mooney and Vivian also fare poorly, unable to find the redhead or their way back to camp.
